Hello. This is Bennett, I am Maritza’s son. My mom, the creator of this website and author of the book The Anti-Trump Manifesto sadly passed away on April 20, 2020 after an unfortunate battle with COVID19. She was a healthy, proud woman with a quick wit and bold spirit who was always smiling. Maritza loved to travel, recently visiting Egypt, Jordan and Israel in search of the Ancient Middle Eastern Worlds – and just a few months prior, she was hiking in the Andes of South America. Her family is beyond heartbroken as to why COVID19 so seriously affected her when she had no pre-existing conditions, but they know she is now watching over them in peace.
You can honor her by reading her book – The Anti-Trump Manifesto she worked tirelessly to publish this past January 2020.
It has since been re-published to include a forward written by myself, her son along with some minor improvements suggested to me from an editor.
I have also worked to translate the book into Spanish, which has been made available on all major platforms as of September 13. Please see all the links below or in the order page of this website to get a copy of the book today.

Welcome. Here are some words my mom wrote before her passing
My story begins back in 2017. I started to write a book on our President. From the point of view of a regular citizen, not of a politician, a journalist, or a staff member of Mr. Trump. It was meant to be on his personality and attributes or lack of them to be our leader. Try as I did, when someone talks about a politician, especially such a high profile politician, one can’t escape opinions that may seem partisan. I hope this is understood. I’m taking no sides, except the side of resistance to ignorance, pettiness, cruelty and deception. Resistance to a con man, undeserving of the office he represents.
In 2017 I did not think he was up to the task. I still think the same way.
I finished the book at the end of 2019. It’s now January 1, 2020. Now it is up on Amazon.
Who am I? Just a regular person: I am a woman, I am an immigrant, I am a proud citizen of a country that is seemingly disintegrating under a pile of lies and fantasies.

A concise, well-articulated, and well-researched case against #45 Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2020
The author does not minced words nor does she have qualms about expressing political opinions. Fortunately, those words and opinions are informed by facts and extensive research. The author’s analysis of Republican Sen. Margaret Chase Smith’s eloquent condemnation of Joseph McCarthy is especially powerful, drawing parallels to the author’s own reflections on public service, ethics, democracy, and the dangers of would-be tyrants. Even if you disagree with the author’s political beliefs, her precise writing style and exhaustive research should put this “manifesto” on every informed person’s reading list. Reiss’ work is a timely reminder that the truth still matters.

The Anti-Trump Manifesto: Is a citizen’s statement against tyranny and lies. If you overlook the brash title you’ll find a well thought out and agonized over history with extensive research about the power of the Presidency of the United States in December 19, 2016 to January 1, 2020 when it was published. Maritza Iberico was a mother, Educator & truly the embodiment of an American Patriot – as a legal immigrant to the United States from Peru & Spain; she knew she had a right to stand up and question the status quo. As a world traveler & immigrant she understood what happens and the discord caused by dictators who tell you their “version of the truth.” Her witty analogies will draw you into her primary and secondary sources seeking answers and expecting more of politicians, reporters and agree or disagree; You’ll find yourself seeking to make informed choices.
While opinionated you’ll find the Author remained true to her vocation as an educator giving insights, facts and the tools to form your own decision. 4.5 ✰ exceptionally well written don’t let the title turn you away.

If you are a Republican troubled by what you see happening in the country (corruption, racism, use of elected position for personal benefit,…) this book will give you the arguments you need to take a difficult and bold step voting against Donald Trump in the 2020 election.
By giving detailed and extremely well-documented insights about the danger that Donald Trump represents for the US democracy, this book calls for an awakening of American people, left and right wing combined.
